4th Tuesday Readers

The 4th Tuesday Readers meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room at the church. All are welcome.

Afternoon Book Group

The United Methodist Women Afternoon Book Group meets the second Thursday of each month from September through May at 1:00 pm at the church.  We have lively discussions on a variety of current books selected by the group, enjoy fellowship and have yummy treats.   Please join us in the Fireside Room at the church. All Are Welcome!!!

Men’s Breakfast Groups

Friday Morning Men’s Breakfast

The Friday Morning Men’s Breakfast group meets at the Perkins Restaurant at 4201 W. 78 Street (near 494 and France Avenue) in Edina at 7:30 am—for an hour of fellowship and conversation. This breakfast group focuses on Good Samaritan’s outreach in our community. They give over $1000 each year to VEAP, Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, and Allan Law’s sandwiches for the homeless. All men are welcome to share the fun and fellowship every Friday. If you have questions contact Bill at billandluvan@comcast.net.

Garden Group

This group meets the third Tuesday of the month from March through August at 7:00 pm at the church or in members’ homes. The third Tuesday in May we host the “Dirt Cheap Plant Sale” featuring plants from our own gardens.  Donations from the congregation’s gardens are also welcomed. Our purpose is fellowship and to learn and exchange information about gardening.  For further information email BECCAKATIESAM@aol.com.

Out-to-Lunch Bunch

This group meets the third Wednesday morning of each month including the summer.  We carpool to Twin Cities’ attractions such as museums, gardens, historical buildings, and churches.  We have lunch at an interesting restaurant nearby.  Contact joannknutson@hotmail.com for further details.


All persons are welcome to join us for quilting, knitting, handwork, and fellowship. We meet every Monday at the church in the Conference Room from 1 – 3 p.m. New to “Stitching”… we’ll be glad to teach you.

United Methodist Women

The organization of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to: know God and experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ, develop a creative, supportive fellowhship, expand concepts of mission through particpation in the global ministries of the church. UMW sponsors a number of fellowship groups, interest groups, and activities whose focus is friendship and support.
