IOTA (Grades 9 – 12)

Youth Sunday School

10:30 am in Youth Room 201
September – May

Sr. High Youth Sunday School uses the curriculum “LinC” which offers topical Bible-based conversations tied to weekly current events and trends relevant to teen’s lives.  Plus, enjoy whole donuts!

Sunday afternoons from 5:00-6:30 pm in Youth Room 201

IOTA offers our youth a place where they can come together each Sunday to share a meal and to serve together.  Good Samaritan is a community deeply rooted in service.  With this change we now have:

-opened up more opportunities for service projects

-consolidated the youth programming from 7-th-12th grade to Sunday evenings

-added consistency to our youth program

-the flexibility in scheduling offsite service/fellowship outings

-opened up the opportunity for confirmands to participate in youth activities

-focused a time where our youth can accumulate service hours for school

An IOTA is defined as something being minuscule, tine, and/or small.  Small acts of service and fellowship can blossom into hope and community very quickly!  Or as they say in Mathew 13:31-32 – it can be like a mustard seed; an iota of a seed!
