You’re All Invited to Beach Party–Surfin’ Through the Scriptures! This is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church held Sunday, Aug. 17 through Thursday, Aug. 21 from 5:45-7:45 PM. There will be:
- Buffet dinner from 5:45–6:10 PM
- Classes and activities for all, ages 3–adult
- Nursery care for infants–2 years old
Plans are well underway for VBS, but as you all know, programs are at their best when terrific volunteers, like yourself, participate and make it a wonderful experience. We have several opportunities for volunteers during VBS:
- Preschool through Grade 6 teacher/leaders
- Station helpers for Science, Crafts, Recreation, and Storytelling (we even need a puppeteer)
- Dinner servers (5:45–6:10 PM nightly)
This is a wonderful opportunity to make friendship connections with adults and create meaningful relationships with our great kids.
