The organization of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to: know God and experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ, develop a creative, supportive fellowhsip, expand concepts of mission through particpation in the global ministries of the church. UMW sponsors a number of fellowship groups, interest groups, and activities whose focus is friendship and support. View activities scheduled for this month.

Out To Lunch Bunch

On Wednesday, March 17 (please wear green!) the Out-to-Lunch Bunch will tour and hear about the Christian Science Church and Reading Room in Linden Hills. We will have lunch at Cafe 28 at 11:30 AM. Meet in the lower parking lot at 9:30 AM to carpool. If you would like to join us for the tour and/or lunch, please contact JoAnn at joannknutson@hotmail.com.

Afternoon Book Group

AFTERNOON BOOK GROUP meets on the second Thursday of each month in the Fireside Room. Come and join us for lively discussion, fellowship, and delicious treats. All are welcome.

2010 North Shore Women's Retreat

Women, mark your calendars for the 2010 North Shore Women’s Retreat. The dates are June 28 – July 1 (Monday thru Thursday), and we will be returning to the Lutsen Resort.

Afternoon Fellowship Group

AFTERNOON FELLOWSHIP GROUP meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be on Mar. 9 at 1:00 PM for dessert and conversation at the home of Vivian Freiberg.  Call Marianne at 952.941.1307 for directions or carpooling.

Wednesday Morning Women's Breakfast Group

This group meets at 8 a.m. the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's of each month at Bakers Square, 3000 W 66th Street (just east of Xerxes) in Edina. Come enjoy breakfast with friends. A $1 contribution is collected each time we meet for support of the Joyce Food Shelf.
