Leadership Style

I listen deeply to the hopes and needs of a people. I meet them where they are, naming a vision for where God is calling, and working strategically with them to achieve it. My leadership style is shared, not abdi- cated. I lead by lifting the shared vision and “equipping the saints”, by “speaking the truth in love”, and cre- ating ways to multiply joy.

Gifts for Ministry

I am most effective in these areas: preaching; creating meaningful worship experiences; articulating and charting a path to the vision; leading change; identifying, supporting and affirming lay leaders; inspiring and leading staff teams; managing conflict; and organization and administration. My leadership experience in corporate settings has given me training and experience in effective supervision, leading to recognized re- sults. My interim ministry and coaching experiences have honed my skills for assessing systems and identi- fying and implementing interventions for health and vitality.
