The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the humanitarian relief and development arm of the United Methodist Church, a non-profit organization operated under the auspices of the General Board of Global Ministries. UMCOR programs fall into 4 categories: Disaster Response, Sustainable Development, Relief Supply and Global Health. UMCOR was founded in the wake of WWII in response to the displaced and vulnerable populations.
