Nikki Holm

Director of Congregational Care

Nikki has a passion for connecting with people and for inviting them to connect with themselves. Within such connection, she hopes to promote healing while empowering individuals to explore practices and beliefs that are supportive and life-giving for them. Nikki is Board Certified with the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc. She received her Master’s degree in Spirituality from St. John’s School of Theology in central Minnesota in addition to completing a two-year Spiritual Direction Certificate from the WomanWell Spiritual Guidance and Leadership program in Saint Paul. Nikki did her clinical training at Park Nicollet where she worked both at Methodist Hospital and Melrose Center for Eating Disorders. Prior to pursuing chaplaincy, Nikki worked in Youth Ministry. Nikki has also completed intensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma, a body-oriented, cognitive treatment approach to healing the damaging effects of trauma. Outside of her work at Good Sam, Nikki continues to support our first responders as a part-time chaplain with Allina Health Emergency Medical Services in addition to seeing her own clients as a spiritual director.
Professional things aside, Nikki is a mom to two miraculous human beings including a two-year-old daughter and two-month-old son. Nikki enjoys many things including rock climbing, gardening, camping, yoga, writing, the enneagram, and spending time with her loved ones. Most recently, Nikki took sailing lessons with her husband and loves any time she can spend on the water or in nature of any sort. Nature and her children are truly her deepest sources of connection with both awe and divinity.
