Masterworks Choir is open to those who want to participate in major Chancel Choir projects but cannot commit to the full calendar season. We invite you to join us in October to prepare for our Good Samaritan Christmas concert, our presentation of Handel’s Messiah on Christmas Eve, and to join us again in January as we prepare for our Ashes of Roses and Good Friday Tenebrae presentations.

Chancel Chimes, our adult bell choir, participates in the musical leadership in our worship services on a monthly basis. This ensemble performs in festivals and concerts throughout the Twin Cities.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays, 5:00–7:15 PM
Director: Sue Nissen,

Homeward Bound has served as Good Sam’s “house band” since the 1980s.  Like the adult bell choir, we help lead the music in worship services on a roughly monthly basis, including both performance pieces and leading congregational singing.  We also perform at weddings, funerals, and other church events, as well as in coffeeshops, fundraisers, and other external gatherings around Twin Cities.  For audio and video samples of our music, upcoming performances, and other information please see:
