Carey Shunskis

Carey is currently the Music and Program Director for St. Paul-based ComMUSICation, a non-profit organization with a mission to create and implement the artistic and programmatic vision for youth rooted in the Frogtown and Rondo communities. Carey also serves as the Co-director of the Bach and Friends Workshop for the Bach Society of Minnesota. Carey performs locally with VocalEssence, in addition to the Bach Society. She received her bachelors in music in Vocal Performance and Music Education from the University of Rhode Island and her masters of music in Choral Conducting at Boston University.
